INTERVIEW 3 – MARCH 2020
I am sorry for not sending you any answer yet, I got out of time these days.
I just remembered the interview so here are my answers:)
How are you doing these crazy days?
I am sending you lots of love from Lisbon.
1 Where are you now?
I am in Lisbon, Portugal in a flat, with a lifesaving view on the horizon with the river Tejo
2 What is your current art practice?
I am participating in a full-time documentary filmmaking program called Docnomads
3 What is the rubberbodies collective for you?
intense smell of cornstarch
strings ropes and pulleys
loops of repetitive experimenting
no cycle ever happens in the same way
failing all the time
waves of emotions
sharing love care and biers
living on a boat
docking in Malta in Amsterdam and other islands that needs a bit of jelly
4 What is lined up in the near future
Re-articulating priorities, decision making, surviving, learning to balance life then enjoy, establish a civil job, making films about ordinary things, to make people feel, love
5 Anything else you want to share/tell/show/preach
I came across an inspiring sphere of films which are being made in/about the peripheries. If you have the chance, watch for example Vitalina Varela (2019) made by Portuguese director Pedro Costa, and listen to him speaking about the film.
